The small and quiet agriturismo Miranda, just outside of Villamagna (bar grocery etc) has four appartments, all situated on the ground floor, and with their own private terraces.
Next to the big swimmingpool, there is also a small shallow one for small children (2m x 2m 60cm).
The garden and appartments are maintained with much care and love from the owners.
The agriturismo has nice panoramic views all-around and a nice view on Volterra, which is only 8 km away. The owners also live on the grounds themselve, there are four bikes available for use, without charge.
The owners sell biological wine and other products from their own land. Extra: dinner service
The apartment Fagiano has a livingroom, two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two single beds) bathroom, and a terrace bordering the livingroom.

About Volterra
Volterra is a beautiful and well maintained town. The city was founded by the Etruscan civilization on a hill viewing the surrounding landscape. It has 11.000 inhabitants, and a lot of tourists.
The Duomo on the San Giovanni Square was built in Roman Style, and has fine - 13th century chairs with sculpted panels, and many 'bas - reliëfs.
In the Palazzo dei Priori the governors of the town seated back in the Middle Ages. This Palace, of which the construction started in 1208, is one of the oldest of Tuscany.
In the Museum Guarnicci many traces of Etruscan life are shown. In addition, there are a few museums with paintings.
Impressive is the Roman Theatre, which dates back to the first century BC.
The fortress of the 'Medici' is in good condition and still in use as a state prison.
This lively small town ofcourse has many bars and restaurants. It has a cosy atmosphere. In the evening, when the tourists have gone home, you can enjoy the authentical silence and peacefulness, that reigns there for ages already
