The recently renovated Villa Antica Pietra, at 1km of Iano, has three holiday apartments, a large panoramic garden with several pirvate terraces with parasols, and splendid swimming pool with hydromassage. There is a big common room / lobby, that gives on the garden. You can do group activities here, like eating all together, or playing games, or you can use it as a library: there are over 200 books in all languages.
The friendly owners bring you, during the week, some homemade tuscan specialties. You feel the warm atmosphere.
They also organise delightful walks across the amazing landscape, as for example to the Santuario dell Pietrina, a small church on top of a hills, rewarding you with wonderful views.
The holiday apartment 'Onice' is situated on the 2nd floor and has a beautiful view. It has a living room with kitchen corner, two bed rooms (one room with double bed and one room with two single beds) and a bath room with shower. In one of the bed rooms there is space for an extra bed.

About Iano
The village Iano is situated approximately 15 km north from the wellknown Medieval / Etruscan town Volterra (Etruscan Museum) in the gently sloping hilly landscape. In Iano you have a good restaurant with a beautiful terrace (Antico Borgo). There is also a grocery, a bar, a postoffice etc
The area is characterised by vast hilly landscape, alternated with woods. An ideal place to have nice walks in the surroundings, or to go by bike.
The local owners like to organise walks for the tourists, such as a marvelous excursion to the Santuario della Pietrina, a very old little church on top of a hill. The walk will reward you with the most wonderful views.
And when you step in the car you will reach in a short time, after a delightful trip, one of the great and famous cultural towns in the area.
