This friendly and very well kept agriturismo (7 apartments) is situated in the Tuscan hills just outside the lilttle medieval village of Montefoscoli (municipality of Palaia). The young and enthusiastic couple Irene and her husband Luca manage this place. On the day of arrival they offer their guests 'un aperitivo di benvenuto'. They have a nice restaurant (exclusive for the tenants) in which they serve breakfast with regional biological products (6 euro p.p.), dinner or a Tuscan lunch on Sunday. There is also the possibility of horseback-riding.
The apartment 'Natura' is located on the ground floor of the annex with direct access to a private terrace. It has a livingroom with kitchen area and extra double sofabed, one bedroom (double bed and single bed) and a bathroom (toilet, bidet, shower, washing stand).

About Montefoscoli
The quiet village Montefoscoli (600 inhabitants) is situated among the gently sloping hills of the Valdera, and has a great view towards Volterra and Pisa.
Small shops, a restaurant, two bars, postoffice.
The rural committee looks after guided tours in the 'Museo dellla Civiltà Contadina' and the 'Museo Andrea Vaccà'. You can also visit the temple which Andrea Vaccà, inhabitant of Montefoscoli and famous doctor in the Empire period, built in 1823, 1km outside of Montefoscoli
The Vespaclub has its seat here (in Pontedera, nearby, is the Vespa-museum)
For the rural festivals in May and in September everyone in the village is really committed. This is a village where tradition is important, and community sense a fact.
In the surroundings of Montefoscoli beautiful walks can be made. Tenant gets descriptions for these walks, a plan, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
