This accomodation, called 'Noceto', is situated on the Tuscany countryside, 2 km away from the medieval city Palaia, the house will offer you complete rest in wich you can enjoy the nature surrounding the house, to reach the house the last 800m you'll drive on an steep unpaved road.
The house is separated in two appartments, one of wich is inhabited by the Swiss owner, the other appartment (with it's own entrance) he rents out to guests. The appartment has a livingroom with a kitchen area and a bathroom (very simple, with a toilet, wash-hand basin, and a shower) on the ground floor, and a spacious bedroom on the first floor (the roof is well isolated and will protect you from the summer heat), in the bedroom is a 2p-bed, in case you have small children they can also sleep in this room, two extra beds will be placed. In the garden is also a possibility to sleep, because there is a small block-system hut (with water outside and electricity) where two persons can sleep, but sleeping here is more like camping. The garden is wild, but is like a big playground for young kids. There is also a ping-pong table.
On the grounds an 8-angular private-swimmingpool (6 x 4.5 x 1.10 m) will provide you some refreshment in the summer.

About Palaia
The splendid medieval little town Palaia (900 inhabitants) has much activity. One imagines oneself in the past, when one sees the old crafts, practiced in the village. There are shops, some bars, terraces, restaurants, a 'gelateria' (ice-cream), pizzeria,postoffice, bank etc. without the village losing its authenticity.
In the middle of the village is the 'Rocca' a rock, that one can climb and from where one has a splendid view. Just a little outside of Palaia there is the church 'Pieve di San Martino'. The panoramic views in and around Palaia are fabulous.
In the surroundings of Palaia beautiful walks can be made. Tenants get descriptions for these walks, a map, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at home of individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
