Casolare is located high above Forcoli, in the small "Borgo di Alica" (right under on air photo)
The house is near to a centuries old church in a village which only has 40 inhabitants. But still there is a good nearby restaurant, and the shops in Forcoli are only on a 1 km distance, although it's better to take the car when you go there because it is a though climb back up the hill to the house.
Via a gate you enter the beautiful panoramic garden, where on one side you'll have a view over the hills and on the other side the Pisan Pianura. From the terrace you will get into the living room with a cosy lounge area. Next to this room there is a bedroom with two 1p-beds and a beautiful private terrace attached to it. Behind this bedroom there is a hall from where you get into another big bedroom, which has a double bed and a private bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet). From the hall mentioned earlier there is also a staircase which will lead you to the mezzanine where there is another 2p-bed and another bathroom (toilet and washbasin). the mezzanine is connected to the big bedroom.
The hall also provides entrance to a third bathroom (spacious, with a shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet).
Behind the living room, you'll find a nice cosy kitchen with a round table and a big sink.
Casolare is a charming house where you can have a very good time with 6 people.
To get to the pool (only used by the tenants of Casolare) you will have to go through a small gate in the back of the garden, after which you'll go down a small pathway.
At the pool there is a shower, a big sun-terrace with garden furniture and parasols.

About Forcoli
Forcoli is all activity, there are all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants, a supermarket etc. Still it preserves the real Tuscan atmosphere. Around Forcoli the landscape shows gently sloping hills, with olive-trees and vineyards. An excellent walking area, and at the same time a very good spot to start your daytrips to several cultural and historical sites in Tuscany.
