The Tuscan holiday villa Podere Antonella has five apartments, and is located very near to the small village of Toiano (municipality of Palaia). Toiano is very famous for its 'Calanchi' wind-eroded rocks with special forms in the Tuscany hills, that Podere Antonella is surrounded with. The Villa is situated in a quiet area, and easy to reach. To the silence and relaxation the villa offers, the landlord can add , on your request, a good meal (25 Euro Per person, all inclusive) in the restaurant room or outside on the terrace.
The big pool with a roman staircase provides a lot of fun, and in the nearby environment their are also possibilities for nice walks, for example to the village Toiano. Another plus is the fact that the bigger and smaller famous culture cities in the area are easy to reach.

The five holiday apartments of Podere Antonella are all restored in typically Tuscan style, terra cotta floors and beamed ceilings, and they all have a fire place.

The holiday rental 'Brotogine' is located on the first floor in the main building. By using an outside staircase you can reach the balcony where you can enter the two front doors of Brotogine. From here you'll have a nice panoramic view on the pool. So you rent two apartements the one next to the other on your private outside staircase
Apartment Broto: When you enter into the apartment you are in the living room with kitchen area, next to the room there are two bedrooms, both with a 2p- and a 1p-bed. Bathroom with shower.
Apartment Gine: When entering the apartment you are in the living room. There are also two bedrooms one of them big with a 2p-bed and a 1p-bed, the other with two 1p-beds, there is also a 1p-sofabed in the living room. Bathroom with shower.

About Palaia
The splendid medieval little town Palaia (900 inhabitants) has much activity. One imagines oneself in the past, when one sees the old crafts, practiced in the village. There are shops, some bars, terraces, restaurants, a 'gelateria' (ice-cream), pizzeria,postoffice, bank etc. without the village losing its authenticity.
In the middle of the village is the 'Rocca' a rock, that one can climb and from where one has a splendid view. Just a little outside of Palaia there is the church 'Pieve di San Martino'. The panoramic views in and around Palaia are fabulous.
In the surroundings of Palaia beautiful walks can be made. Tenants get descriptions for these walks, a map, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at home of individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
