The house 'Averani' is located in the medieval village Montefoscoli. This holiday house on the ground floor is very well looked after, entirely restored, while paying respect ot the old medieval structures of the house. The thick walls keep the house deliciously cold, also in the middle of the summer.
The apartment has a comfortable kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside, immediately beside the kitchen there is a covered terrace. Nice garden and own parking place.
The pool in the garden is well separated from the apartment, guaranteeing children's safety. It has Roman steps, going down gradually into the water, from shallow at the steps, to 1.50 m in the center of the pool.

About Montefoscoli
The quiet village Montefoscoli (600 inhabitants) is situated among the gently sloping hills of the Valdera, and has a great view towards Volterra and Pisa.
Small shops, a restaurant, two bars, postoffice.
The rural committee looks after guided tours in the 'Museo dellla Civiltà Contadina' and the 'Museo Andrea Vaccà'. You can also visit the temple which Andrea Vaccà, inhabitant of Montefoscoli and famous doctor in the Empire period, built in 1823, 1km outside of Montefoscoli
The Vespaclub has its seat here (in Pontedera, nearby, is the Vespa-museum)
For the rural festivals in May and in September everyone in the village is really committed. This is a village where tradition is important, and community sense a fact.
