Here we get inside the world of Alberto Bartalini, great friend of Andrea Bocelli.
Architect Alberto Bartalini takes care of the art in the public space of the province of Pisa, and is the main organizer of the annual concert by Andrea Bocelli at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico.
Active as he is, he has also taken care of the inner and outer space of the Borgo Santa Lucia, and that is clear to see: its sculptures, mural paintings, decorations, art, etc, no matter where you look you find surprising details. The restaurant here is a true experience, the food is superb, good wines, and the service is personal, thanks to the hospitality of the cheerful owner Alessia and her staff.
You can even have your lunch or dinner in the winecellar, stunning place.

Going up the outside staircase, you arrive on the terrace. Here is the entrance to the apartment Marcello. Large living room with sitting and dining area, nicely decorated, an indoor kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms, one with double bed, 1 bedroom with double bed and single bed.

Lidt om Montecastello
Denne landsby Montecastello med sit fæstningsværk er domineret af et prægtigt højtliggende slot. Slottet ejes af Marchese Torrigiani Malaspina, som stadigvæk bor her og har udkik på sine dyrkede marker rundt om byen. I landsbyen (200 indbygger) er en bar, en købmandsforretning og et postkontor. Landsbyens beliggenhed er rolig i grønne omgivelser med oliventræer ved Valdera. På en kørsel på kun 25 minutter bringes man til lufthavnen i Pisa.
