Villa Loghino - Cascia (Italy, Tuscany, Palaia)
'Località Loghino' seems hidden in the beautiful Tuscan hills, however lovely picturesque villages with restaurants and shops etc. are closeby. The very nice Profeti family runs a small farm here. They have delicious home made products and the owner can prepare a Tuscan meal on request (to be payed).
'La Cascia' is the largest apartment, beautifully restored and is on the ground floor. It has a large living room with kitchen area, one bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. In a private part of the large living room is a double sofabed for two extra persons.

About Palaia
The splendid medieval little town Palaia (900 inhabitants) has much activity. One imagines oneself in the past, when one sees the old crafts, practiced in the village. There are shops, some bars, terraces, restaurants, a 'gelateria' (ice-cream), pizzeria, postoffice, bank etc. without the village losing its authenticity.
In the middle of the village is the 'Rocca' a rock, that one can climb and from where one has a splendid view. Just a little outside of Palaia there is the church 'Pieve di San Martino'. The panoramic views in and around Palaia are fabulous.
In the surroundings of Palaia beautiful walks can be made. Tenants get descriptions for these walks, a map, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at home of individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
