'Gatto is a farmhouse situated in the peaceful tuscan countryside between Pontedera and Volterra, near the medieval village of Montefoscoli.
There are 4 holiday apartments. Two of them, that can also be connected, are inside of the farmhouse where also the owners live, whereas the others are two charming cottages.
The apartments are big and very tastefully furnished with antiques. They are very cosy..
Every accommodation has its own outer space in the well kept garden. The swimmingpool with wonderful views, and the large common room with impressive cross vaults, where ithe television is, add to the pleasure of staying here in Tuscany.
Gatto - Four Seasons offers you the complete first floor, that you reach through the beautiful outside staircase with balcony, that gives you wonderful views. You enter in the spacious livingroom, ther are two kitchens, four bedrooms (all with double bed) and four bathrooms (two with shower and two with bathtub). There is a fine sofabed in a spare room, so altogether there are ten sleeps.

About Montefoscoli
The quiet village Montefoscoli (600 inhabitants) is situated among the gently sloping hills of the Valdera, and has a great view towards Volterra and Pisa.
Small shops, a restaurant, two bars, postoffice.
The rural committee looks after guided tours in the 'Museo dellla Civiltà Contadina' and the 'Museo Andrea Vaccà'. You can also visit the temple which Andrea Vaccà, inhabitant of Montefoscoli and famous doctor in the Empire period, built in 1823, 1km outside of Montefoscoli
The Vespaclub has its seat here (in Pontedera, nearby, is the Vespa-museum)
For the rural festivals in May and in September everyone in the village is really committed. This is a village where tradition is important, and community sense a fact.
In the surroundings of Montefoscoli beautiful walks can be made. Tenant gets descriptions for these walks, a plan, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at individuals, cook at your home adress, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc.
